Help! Exit Chatelet Les Halles

I will be taking the B line from Charles de Gaulle. We're staying at Novotel Les Halles. Can anyone PLEASE tell me which exit to take from the Chatelet Les Halles station? I've read this station is a nightmare and I want to be prepared. PLEASE HELP!

Without clicking on the link, I would say to take the direction of "Place Carré" (an underground sector of the Forum des Halles), which means going through the same turnstiles as a connection to metro line 4. Once you are through them and out the metro exit, there are the escalators for the rue du Louvre street exit (between the big Darty and Go Sport store signs). At the top of the escalators is the Novotel.

Thank you arabyg for asking this question! I'm intimidated by trying to find our way out of there in a few weeks, too. We will be looking for the Rue Berger exit as well. Sorry I'm not any help, though!

Thank you! I will be taking exit Forum des Halles, Porte Berger. Perhaps this is the exit you are looking for rebekahj0. I'm pretty familiar with the metro, but haven't been to this station yet. When are you going rebekahj0? I'll be arriving on February 23, so maybe I can give you and update when I get there.

I always call it 'the dreaded Chatelet' because it can be so confusing. Avoid it like the plague if at all possible, but it usually isn't possible.

Google 'Chatelet paris metro' and you will find a map of it and maybe you can tell from that. It is like an octopus.
