I am travelling to Switzerland Nov 6-13 and would like help with my itinerary.
I would like to see quaint villages, beautiful mountains and avoid cities like Zurich, Geneva etc. What would be goodespvia train?
Thanks!

Hi
Just about every question on any travel message board is about 'help.'

You specifically want some infromation about Switzerland Scenery in November; perhaps repost your question with those details in your title, so that Switzerland experts will notice it.

Where are you coming from?

If you are already in Europe, you can avoid Zurich and Geneva and travel by train or car. If you are coming from overseas one of those cities will likely be your arrival/departure airport.

Landing/departing from Zurich.
Are some areas more rainy than others too?

You can never predict the weather, but you might want to check with a couple of the weather websites to get some averages for the month of November. Here's hoping for sunshine in mid-May.

Weather aside, do you have any preference for spending time in the French-speaking, German-speaking or Italian-speaking part of Switzerland? Each is a very different atmosphere.
