I'm assuming you will have already seen the Cliffs of Moher the previous day. Time wise (2-3 hours), just head to Limerick, Adare, Tralee, and on to Dingle.

Can I recommend stopping by Lahinch and Kilkee, then heading down to Kilrush to catch the ferry. You'll need to do something with your time since your B&B/accommodation in Dingle probably won't be ready until late afternoon.

Thank you, I am a little confused, so I should take the ferry or should I just drive to Limerick, Adare, Tralee then on to Dingle? I have been in this area last time I was in Ireland so I do not want to see the cliffs of mohr this time. we only have 4 days, so I was thinking first night in Ennis, drive to Dingle stay 2 nights then back to limerick.

More information -- in your case, don't take the ferry -- it will take longer for driving to get there, waiting, crossing, etc.

It would only make sense to take the ferry if you were down touring the Loop Head Peninsula.

Thank you, we are booked at Dooneen lodge, Ballymore House in Ventry, hopefully Grey Gables. I am still waiting for a response.
