Heathrow to Edinburgh or Glasgow

Anyone know what airlines fly from London Heathrow, Terminal 3, to either Edinburgh or Glasgow? My wife will be flying in to meet me in Scotland, and I don't want her to have to change terminals, if possible. Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Doesn't happen, Jinx. All internal flights are from Terminal 1.

Any merit in getting a direct flight?

Thanks, Sheila. We want to fly back together out of Heathrow (I turn my lease car back there). United offers the best round-trip fare now. I can't work out an open-jaw to Edinburgh/Glasgow and return from Heathrow. Complicated affair. Do you know how she would get from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 ?

This shows the layout

There is a well signposted walkway between the terminals. I say this having seen it; I can't remember the last time I was in Terminal 3

If you look at this one you'll see where it starts.

It can't be more than 15 minutes walk?

That will work out just fine. British Midland and others fly out of Terminal 1. My wife can make that connection easily.

Merci beaucoup!

This is a very easy connection - either a shortish walk if she has light luggage or uses one of the free luggage trolleys, or by a shuttle bus - but the bus is almost more trouble than its worth.

Hundreds (probably thousands) of people make this transfer every day w/o any problems. I've done it probaly 15 times in the last 20 years - walked it every time.

Thanks, Janis, for the help. I'm sure my wife can make it--we will allow plenty of time between flights.

Merry Christmas,
