But, in case anyone is reading this in the hope of getting up-to-date information, it's worth reminding everyone that times change, and so do governments and government expenditures. In the UK the government wants to tighten up on visitors' use of the NHS, and I'd imagine the eurozone countries in fiscal trouble are under even greater pressure to save expenditure where they can. At the very least, fewer healthcare facilities are likely to say "It's not worth the bother" of collecting charges when they are expected to.
