Having trouble w/ Trenitalia site

I have been trying to purchase train tickets on eurostar trains through the trenitalia english website. Unfortunately the registration page is in italian still and I cannot continue past this point to actually purchase. Any suggestions????? Thanks.

The consensus has been that it's not meant to sell tix to foreigners. Furthermore, judging from a recent visit where many of the once nicely working auto tix dispensers aren't working right anymore, I wouldn't rely on electronics for that now. Buy at train station; I always bought on arrival to a city a few days before leaving.

I agree you will be alright buying at the train station a day or so before, even for 'rushhour' trains. Try the machines first they worked OK for me

If you want to buy tickets in advance try CIT travel at http://www.cittravel.com.au/
They will deliver the tickets to your home or office. It will cost more than waiting until you are there but may be worth it for your peace of mind if you are taking a train trip immediatley upon arrival. If not, I would wait and purchase them at the train station on the day of travel or at a travel agency the day before.

Hi Suz,

You can't buy tickets from trenitalia online unless you live in Italy. You need an ID number.
