Having trouble booking through venere.com Am I doing something wrong?

I've been trying to book a hotel through venere.com, but as I go through the booking form, I can't get a secure connection, and when I click on "Payment method", it sends me off to some other general enquiry form. Is the site playing up, or am I doing something wrong? What normally happens?

I have used that website too but decided to obtain the hotel's web address and emailed the hotel directly. I found that I by doing so, I was able to get even better rates. In addition, I even asked the hotel for directions from the nearest train station to their hotel which they were very happy to provide me. Good luck.

Kate - I did the same as Mvargas - used Venere for research - I really liked their little map so you could see where all the hotels were located. Then I contacted them directly thru email. And I also ended up with a rate less than what Venere showed. Have fun!<BR>Mara
