Has anyone read "1000 Days In Tuscany"?

I have only read half of it and I am starving (craving Italian food) and I want to move to Italy!!! Just curious if anyone else has read this book......My husband and I have talked about moving there one day - now I want to move tomorrow! It sounds like such a simple, amazing way of life compared to corporate america.....maybe one day! For now I will have to convince my husband to take me back to Italy for a 3rd time.....

I've not read this book but Ihave read A Thousand Days in Venice by Marlena De Blasi; which was absolutely wonderful.

If the Tuscany book by the same author? She did move to Tuscany so I'm curious.

Thanks.

Checked it out on Amazon. Same author. Publication date not immediately apparent on Amazon.

My Amazon copy just arrived a few days ago and it's gone to the top of the pile of books next to my bed! I'm reading Venetian Dreaming by Pauala Weideger right now - good but not inspiring.

Well,

I know what I'll be reading after Brunelleschi's Dome. I could not put down Marlena De Blasi's "Venice" book. Her writing style, her ability to speak from her heart and her observations of the human spirit were phenomanal and struck me.

I'm very glad she has continued her and "the strangers" journey to their restaurant in Tuscany.

I believe a great movie could be made from the first book.

Thank you for this post.

I read both books, and though I preferred 1000 days in Venice, 1000 days in Tuscany was good too. It just didn`t have the romance of 1000 days in Venice.

I actually preferred A 1000 Days in Tuscany to her Venice book. The romance seemed more real, her husband more likeable, and the townspeople were interesting. And the food descriptions... YUMMO!!

Check out www.addall.com for ordering books. It gives price comparisons among various websites. Don't forget to type in your state so the shipping cost can be figured accurately.

Aaak! Trying to post, but continue to get the "Sorry..." message

I've read 1000 Days in Venice. Loved it. I have ordered 1000 Days in Tuscany and should be receiving it any day now. MGFIT thank you for the enthusiasm you share of Marlena's new adventures. Sometimes the sequels can be disappointing.
