She was instrumental in giving me info on Spain--I believe she went to Spain in late February 2004 and may still be there. I thought of her immediately when I found out about the events of last week in Madrid and was hoping someone could let me know that she is indeed ok?

Wow! Thanks, madanthony! I'm fine! I returned a few weeks ago. I wrote a trip report - sounds like you didn't see it.

I had a fabulous trip. I don't know how add a link like jenifer did, but if you click on my name, my trip report is on a thread called "Spain Trip Report - Kaudrey Returns". Just scroll down my posts until you find it. I hope you like it -it's pretty detailed of my 2 weeks there.

I am stunned by the tragic loss and suffering inflicted on the Spanish people. My thoughts and prayers go out to them every day. They are a wonderful people and it is a fabulous country.

I forget - when are you going? How is your trip plan shaping up?

I'm just glad to know you're safe and sound! I couldn't remember when exactly you were going and I was worried about you! Anyway, I'll check out your posts re: your trip.

Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our trip, which was to be in April, due to just buying an old house here in Columbus, Ohio and feeling overwhelmed by it!

We are definitely going within the next year, though.
