My husband and I had a rather late lunch there in April 1964. I had read that JFK dined there on the fettucini, which we had never heard of but which sounded delicious. They served it with the large, gold spoon and fork and it was devine. On our next trip to Rome, in 2004, we didn't look it up as we are on more of a low fat diet now. I can't believe that something that good isn't full of cream!
