Orlando Fine Dininig

Hi,
Any suggestions for higher-end, fine dining in Orlando? Thanks

Christinis on Sand Lake Road for high end Italian. Columbia in Celebration for fine Cuban. Disney offers Artist's Point in Wilderness Lodge for great NW cuisine. California Grill at the Contemporary Hotel is often mentioned as the best food destination at Disney. The Puertobelo Italian restaurant at Downtown Disney is a fine place. Emeril's at City Walk in Universal is well regarded.

We celebrated our 25th anniversay with dinner at the California Grill. Three chefs in the family and they all agreed--great food--excellent wine list! Go in time to see the fireworks!

Thank you for the suggestions. The recommendations are for my in-laws. They are looking for 4 or 5 good restaurants and they would like to not go into Disney World or the resorts.
Thanks again. Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Staying away from the resorts is, IMO, a great idea, at least as far as dining is concerned. We found Emeril's at Universal to be pretty close to awful--weird service, high prices, poor execution and quality. Tchoup-Tchoup was better only because Asian flavors disguise a multitude of sins, but the service was still weird and the food only so-so.

Sorry to be Debbie Downer, especially as I don't have anything to reccommend instead--in fact, I'm looking forward to more suggestions from others, because we meet family in Orlando fairly often and are stymied as to where to go to eat.
