I gather from this that Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince has been completed & will be released in July. Here's where it was shot:

It looks like filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has begun, according to IMDB:

Google MuggleNet and The Leaky Cauldron for more detailed information.

If you can't find out where they will be filming, at least you can visit Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross.

Im a HUGE HP fan...would love to see Platform 9 3/4, Gringotts etc if possible... but the guided tours are terribly expensive... i wonder if anyone has any idea where some of those sites are...

Would people think I am mad if I go to King's Cross and start asking where is Platform 9 3/4??? ;P

They probably get that question often--Platform 9 3/4 is between the platforms in Kings Cross where mainline trains come in and where the more local/commuter trains come in--to the west. Not a long walk at all. What you'll see is a luggage trolley partially embedded in the brick wall. Can't remember but know I read where Diagon Alley and the main hall at Gringotts were filmed. You might try the official Harry Potter web site or maybe www.imdb.com
