Half day trips south of Siena?
I am looking for a half day trip south of Siena. We have a car . Somewhere different, quirky. We have been to San Gim, Volterra, Montepulciano. Any thoughts?

Hi Marko - How far do you want to go?

Pienza? Montalcino? Chianciano? Pitigliano?

How about a spa? Saturnia?

Hmmm ! Only a half day is tough.
I would drive via Asciano to the Abbey at Mt. Oliveto Maggiore to see the fabulous murals, and then perhaps lunch in Bagno Vignoni before driving home on S-2. Have fun !
