Guarda Portugal to Salsmanca Spain

I’m hoping to travel to Spain and Portugal in September. Does anyone have experience taking Flixbus from Guarda to Salamanca ?

Thanks!

I've taken Fixbus from France to Spain, so if the company has the route you mention, it should be fine. The problem was in finding the bus stop area in France, which was a nondescript area not well marked as a bus stop.

I listened to a couple podcasts about buses in Spain today. One said the bus system is very unreliable and the other said it is fantastic 🤷‍♀️

I took buses in northern Spain and they were fine. The trains in Spain also seem very good these days, with high speed lines on some routes.

Thanks. We will be using trains in both Portugal and Spain and have always found them reliable on previous trips. My dilemma is there is no train from the Coimbra of Portugal area to Salamanca Spain. Best option appears to be the Flixbus

Two of my favorite cities, but yes, you'll need to take the bus. Even when there was/is a train, you get into Salamanca around 4:00 am.

I wouldn't have any issue using flixbus. The journey would take between 2 and 2.5 hours depending on which schedule you choose.
