Greek restaurant recommendations…

Hi, everyone!
We will be traveling to Greece in early April, first trip to Greece. Would appreciate any thoughts or recommendations you might have for restaurants, coffee shop and bakeries. Or anything else you might think worth visiting!

Athens
Delphi
Nafplio
Heraklion
Chania

We’ll have a car at all the stops with the exception of Athens.
I’ve saved the thread with the Chania and Heraklion restaurant recommendations, always open for more information.
I’ll thank everyone in advance!

Of the places you are visiting, we have been to Athens and Nafplio. So here are my recommendations:

Nafplio

Bounos Psarosavouras
- located on Boumpoulinas Street overlooking the water. We enjoyed the food so much that we ate here twice!
Aiolos - One of the best meals of our trip. We had grilled vegetables, grilled garlic shrimp, and oven-baked lamb
Napoli and Romania Cafe - had drinks here located at the "point" to watch the spectacular sunset.
Koustenis - delicious ice cream

Athens:
Lunch at the Athens Central Market. I didn't write down the name of the restaurant but we had delicious fresh seafood
In the Plaka neighborhood - The Old Tavern of Psarras and Geros Tou Moria.

There’s a fantastic bakery in Nafplio that should be on your radar, Arko. Also, on Wednesdays and Saturdays there’s a great farmer’s market with produce, wines, fish, etc.

In the Monastiraki area of Athens I recommend the Kyklamino restaurant for good traditional food at great prices.

Arko! That will be a daily stop… who can resist a bakery?
And we will be in town for the Farmer’s Market, can’t wait!
Thank you, appreciate your note!

Many years ago, we ate at a restaurant on Mt. Lycabettos (there are other spellings) in Athens and the view of the Acropolis was nice. We took a cab but there is a funicular there now. Others can add to this.

We’re certain to visit the restaurant at the top of Mt Lycabettos!
We’ve got our fingers crossed that it’s a clear day.
Thanks a million!
