Greek Island Cruises From the Man Who Brought You easyJet

EasyCruise has just announced its summer 2007 cruise schedule at prices you've never seen before: http://tinyurl.com/yfa3fs. Some of the islands on its two week itinerary are hard to reach gems. If only they allowed you to join mid-cruise for segments of the itinerary, it would be a real alternative to the ferries. Will I be going on an easyCruise? I don't think so.

That should have read 'one week itinerary'.

There's obviously a "market" for these cruises even though folks who would most likely take one probably post on other boards.

I remember when things were "that simple" and sometimes wonder who lost what in the process of ageing.

I think they did cruises in the south of France before. It sounded like a Club 18-30 holiday.

You might also want to check the cabin size. Standard cabin at 9 to 10 sq meters, some without window...

Like Dukey said, there's bound to be a market for it, but unlikely from traditional cruise passengers. If it turns out to be a floating Club 18-30, heaven help the quieter islands like Amorgos and Folegandros.

What are you saying? Why, I can't imagine a group of 18 to 30-year-olds causing any problems. In my vast experience covering the last 60 years NOT ONCE have I seen anyone in this group getting drunk, being rude, or causing any problems whatsoever. Surely you are mistaken?

Actually it's us 60 somethings causing all the trouble - we just like to blame it on the youngsters.
