By the middle of May the weather is stable at about 75'-80' F. but cooler at night with some wind, although not uncomfortably so. For me it's the perfect time of year to be on the islands.

This refers to Santorini. Athens was hotter.

we were in Athens, Santorini and Crete, May 6-15th last year and had gorgeous weather. Cool at night in Santorini, but wore no layers, but a light coat at night. Mini skirt, light capris during the day. Warm enough for sunbathing which we did at our hotel on Santorini ( Kirini) and sun bathed onthe beach in Crete ( Chania). no rain, no winds. Just blue skies and blue sea!!!!!
