Greece luxury vacation

I am planning a two week trip to greece in November - and trying to find luxury accomodations -- either a fabulous villa with staff or wonderful hotel. I have never been to Greece - any suggestions?

November may not be the best weather for Greece.Rain? Use a Greek travel agancy to help you. They are listed on Matt barrett's Greek Travel website.

My suggestion .... go to the Caribbean in November, wait until May or June for Greece. You have never been there, but surely you have a map or globe. Greece is about the same latitude as North Carolina. It is not a November destination, if what you have in mind is sunshine, beaches etc.

KK2, I agree with Greece being better during May-September. Are you wanting to visit the mainland or are you thinking islands? If you're thinking the mainland and don't mind the rain and colder temps, that's fine. If you're thinking the islands, most places will be closed during November. Let us know your thoughts on going in November and what parts of Greece you're planning on visiting. That will help us be able to help you better.

Elounda, Crete. You'll have more than one hotel to choose from. Or Anassa, Cyprus (OK, it's not Greece, but...)

If you are planning an expensive trip to Greece I think I would wait until I'm sure they wont all go on strike again. The austerity cuts are still not settled and my guess is it will all kick off again at some point. Is it worth the risk?
