Greece for Singles
Hi , a friend and me want to travel to Greece for a special offered by European Destinations. Which areas are good for sightseeing and night life. We were thinking about Athens for 2days, Mykanos 3 days , Santanori 2 days and Crete for 2 days.
We are from NYC so we are looking to meet cool people, go to bars but also experience the beauty of the isles during the day. Please help, thanks.

More questions
The following link is my plan so far:
http://europeandestinations.bookingp...&Zip=07042
I am not sure if I have time to visit all the islands. Which would you eliminate? I really want to see Mykonos but not too sure which to elimnate between Santori and Crete. Do you think it is really worth it to visit all listed in the link?
Do you think 4 hours on the ferry is excessive? Are there flights available? Which would you go with (ferry v. flight)?
If I go to Crete, would it be better to stay in Chania or Heraklion ? I know that Chania is more lively but not too sure about Heraklion.
Is there a nightlife in Santorini ? I am traveling with my best friend Sandy and I hear this island is really romantic.
In Athens, How far is it to Baisse? I wanted to see the Epicurean. Also, is Olympia really accessible?
Do you think 2 days in Athens is enough for sightseeing?
Another package I came up with ..

Any suggestion on other sites.. Is this considered ridiculously priced?
I am new to this.. Thanks for any suggestions..

HI JulBrown31!
I wouldn't waste my time going for 2 nights in Heraklion. It's not the 'good' part of Crete. Chania is much more picturesque but for such a short time i would really skip Crete.
Stick with Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. Early September will be much more pleasant 'crowd wise' and you'll have a great time!
Santorini is not only for romantic holidays. Oia is fairly quiet but Fira has several bars, restaurants etc!!

I agree with Christine. Three islands in seven days is spreading yourself too thin. Travel between islands takes the better part of a day when you consider checking in & out of hotels, transfers to port/airport, and plane/ferry travel itself.
Skip Crete and add a day each to Mykonos and Santorini. Save Athens until the end of the trip, and you won't have to worry about ferry/flight delays and tight airport connections.
There is no real advantage to a flight between Mykonos and Santorini, but flights to and from the islands will save lots of time.
