Try here:
http://www.lsevacations.co.uk/summerOffer.htm

Also bidding on Priceline (lots of posts about that here and at www.betterbidding.com ) or using Hotwire.

Can you post your budget? That will help us determine what to recommend

There are no cheap hotels in London that are good. A cheap hotel will usually be a dive. How much do you want to spend?

You could try www.londontown.com

We have used them a few times and they are reliable with a good range of options. You can see how much the hotels are and where they are on a map.

You could try Premier Inn in Kings Cross, near the station. It is not in your preferred location but reasonably priced for London and clean and new.

You really do need to tell us what you consider "cheap" . . . .

We liked The Celtic Hotel and Trip Advisor has some very postive reviews of this excellent, clean and charming place, near the British Museum though.

BTW, you may find that there are 'good and fairly cheap' hotels in London by MY defintion because that defintion includes accomodation that does not provide the luxury of a private bath. Many find the lack to be unacceptable. If you do not have a problem, it will broaden your scope.
