we are going on a mediterranean cruise next summer. Barcelona to Italy and back. Does anyone know how or who to book off cruise tours with in Naples, Florence,& Rome? We hate to miss anything but the ship is sooo over priced for their tours. Thanks

Hi Aunty - Where do you want to go in Naples? There are several options which are easy enough by public transport - e.g. Pompeii, Capri, Ercolano ...

From Livorno it's possible to reach Florence inexpensively by train. Likewise from Civitavecchia to Rome.

Otherwise ... expect to pay € 300-350 for a car service from either port.
