1)Our family of five is planning on flying into Athens from Italy- ideally Rome. What is the cheapest reliable flight option? Easy Jet flys in from Milan-- but is there a similar airline out of Rome?

2) After a couple of days in Athens we are cruising out of Piraeus on the evening of June 6, 2008 and returning the following Friday. How hard will it be to find our ship and is it recommended to take the train/mass transit from Athens or is it a crazy mad house?

We are flying back from Athens to the US. Are there any good value oriented hotels near the airport>?

Sometimes the website for your destinantion airport (Athens in your case) will list the airlines that fly into and out of the airport.

Another great flight resource is www.harefares.com. It shows two airlines fly from Rome to Athens. For hotels near the Athens airport, look at www.booking.com and filter by hotels near the airport. Good luck!

AEGEAN offered very reasonable flights between Rome and Athens last summer. Sorry- can't answer your other questions!
