My hotel is outside of main Paris, and the shuttle service offered, they only offer the private one that far out, is about $200 for round trip....anyone know of a cheaper way to get to my hotel directly?

Hi M,
You were given very explicit instructions on how to get to your hotel on your earlier post:

im flying into the CDG, my hotel is Best Western Le Saint Maurice Paris Porte De Bercy
12 Rue Du Marechal Leclerc, Saint Maurice, 94410
....and im aware i was givin directions previously but im kind of rethinking the metro and roissy and what not with my luggage so i was maybe thinking to just get direct transportation when arriving to and leaving paris....

Contact the shuttle services to see if they will take you to a hotel outside of Paris...

Air France to Gare de Lyon would get closer and minimize the cab fare.
Okay - well, anyway, here's a spiffy street map of the hotel neighborhood with the train services overlaid:

Moorea, it is really very easy to travel with the Air France bus. They stop right in front of the terminals' doors. Take the number going to Gare Montparnasse and get off at Gare de Lyon. There are people hanling your luggae for you. Then you can take a taxi from there.
I was also hesitant to do it - and now I will never make use of any other form of transport. It is cheap and convenient.

There are at least six ways of getting from CDG to Paris. Choose the one that suits your traveling style and budget. Six are detailed here: http://tinyurl.com/mpjhn

The first coupla trips to Paris we booked the Blue Van which cost 50.00 euros for two people and took us straight to the hotel. Then we found out that if we asked the hotel we were staying at to book transportation for us, we got the same type of van but it cost 14.00 euros less.
Ask your hotel if they will do this.
