getting hotel registration without giving a mobile phone number

I want to make a registration with a hotel or guesthouse near the Copenhagen airport, and it's required (online) to give a mobil phone number. I don't have one. I don't have an address. I'm traveling. How do I get a registration online? This is crazy.

Give your home land line number...how are they going to know if it is a mobile or not? How about your home address? As to the mobile..they want it in case they need to contact you when you ARE traveling.

I'm traveling for one year. I do not have a mobile phone, a land phone or anything that resembles a phone. I have email and that's it.

Give them the number of a family member or friend.

Wait - give them a google phone number. Then you don't have to bother anyone else and if they do call you you'll get an email from google.

That sounds like a good idea for such a service, I never knew about it (the Google thing). YOu must have some legal address somewhere, just give it even if you won't be there. I presume you have some belongings or mail being received somewhere.

You must be very honest, as I would have just made a number up or used an old one, how would they know if it were real or not? Of course you risk being called for some odd reason (what would that be, hotels always take my number and none have every called me) and supposedly you could not have a room when you show up if they were calling to warn you about something, but I'd take that risk. The number of someone else who can email you if they do call sounds good.

I don't know why I didn't think of this. I gave a relative's number.
