Getting from Senlis to CDG by bus

Hello advisers! So I am thinking of ending our visit to Paris this year in May with an overnight to the town of Senlis. Have figured out how to reach Senlis by train and bus via Chantilly and will likely go there late Wunday morning. Our flight leaves, air france, on Monday at 1:55. Are the buses from Senlis reliable? I have looked at the bus schedule on the Senlis website and it seems as though on Mondays there are only buses that leave at 9:05 or 12:05. However i do not speak french so i am sort of guessing that i'm reading the schedule correctly. Of course it would be preferable to leave Senlis on the later bus but this would only give us 1.5 hours for check in though we travel light and do not check bags. Are there other modes of public transport for Senlis to CDG like cabs or airport vans? Any suggestions will be most welcome. Cheers.

If you have any doubts, take a taxi. It's only 20 minutes to CDG.

I would never chance it. Why not go to Chantilly/Senlis earlier in your trip. My wife and I went from Paris to Senlis and back on the same day -- a Sunday, I think. Wasn't easy. Wasn't on our last day in France. If I'm flying out of CDG I want to be in Paris (or, even better, at a hotel near CDG) the night before. But, our flight always leaves Paris at 10:00 am.

I would never use a bus to get to an airport from a small town on the exact day of travel when I only had a couple hours. A scheduled airport bus from Paris, sure, but not the regular bus. Even regular city buses can inexplicably be late sometimes, I've waited a half hour for one in Paris. However, they have a lot of buses from Senlis to CDG, and since it is 25 km, the taxi fare might be hefty. That's about the same distance as to Paris (just a bit more, actually), so I would expect the taxi fare to be 50-75 euro.

The buses on Monday-Friday are at 8:05, 9:05 and 12:05. So you'd still have to take the one around 9 am. Don't even think about taking one at noon for a 2 pm international flight.

Thanks for the sage advice. Perhaps we will keep Senlis as a daytrip.
