Getting from Conrad Dublin to Train Station

I am considering booking an excursion from Dublin to the Cliffs of Mohr via rail. We would need to be at Heuston Train Station before 7 am and I am wondering what the best way to get there is. Does anyone know if there is a LUA stop close by the Conrad or should we take a taxi? Also, would there be traffic at that hour? I am not sure how much time to allow. I have tried researching the above but am having no luck with specifics. Thank you for any suggestions you can offer.

There isn't much traffic at that time.

When we were took that tour in August, we stayed about a block from the train station at the Ashling Hotel. We were very impressed with the Ashling and I highly recomend it.

Bus 145 would bring you from nearby Leeson St. to Heuston but you're travelling too early to meet the first services in that direction. Taxi is really the only option at that hour, will only take 10-15 mins.

Thank you. We have decided taking a taxi would be best.

And Keith, I appreciate the hotel recommendation however, the Conrad is a 5star and we are using points. You can't beat free.

No you can't!

But I will mention that the Ashling is a four star and it blew away the four star in Galway that we stayed in. It even had an ice machine on our floor!
