'Get Your Guide' is a ripoff
If you are planning an overseas trip and are considering purchasing a museum pass from Get Your Guide, be advised that they are extremely untrustworthy. They charged me twice for the same museum pass in Paris and then, when I pointed this out, tried to buy me off with a credit toward a future purchase. Obviously, after being robbed of $90, there is no way a credit is going to be of any use to me. My advice is to avoid these people unless you want to run the risk of being ripped off.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Whenever possible, for passes (such as the Paris Museum Pass and similar) and admission tickets should be purchased through official channels rather than resellers like GYG or Viator.
To the OP, if you do see this and do return, have you disputed the charge with your credit card company?
Good luck.

hmm, first, why would someone use a third party site to buy a museum pass that is run by the city? Obviously Getyourguide or any reseller isn't running the museums nor creating passes, so that is totally on you that you decided to do this.
Second, you didn't buy from Getyourguide, you bought from a company that uses their interface (Mon Petit Paris, apparently). I guess I would expect Getyourguide to back you up if this is true and you can prove it, however.
As for whether that happened or not, who knows. Could be more to this story. If this is really true, you could obviously dispute it with your credit card. Which is why I'm skeptical. I;ve successfully disputed various charges on my credit card such as double charging for the same item by a store, being charged a fee for a room I didn't even reserve, etc., and my credit cards gave me my money back with no problems. Not sure how that works with foreign companies, though.
I've seen beaucoup de complaints on travel forums about similar things but it turned out to be someone reserving or buying something and clearly ignoring the terms that sales were final, etc., and then wanting their money back. Or booking a nonrefundable hotel rate to save money and then whining that they couldn't get a refund when their plans changed, or complaining when there was a service charge over the government's website even when the website they bought from had all over it that it was not a govt site, etc. Maybe you really booked for two accidentally and couldn't get a refund because you can't within 24 hrs of the date of the item usage.

As noted, GYG is a third party platform the allows the actual sellers to reach potential customers, not a provider of good/services itself. We've come to rely on it when traveling in Europe and have had no problems, including a few ties when we had to cancel a booking. The advice to contact your credit card and dispute the duplicate charge is spot on.

My wife and I relied on GYG when in Florence and Rome in Spring 2023. Like that you don’t lock in the cost until a day or so before the event, providing flexibility to your travels. Never had a problem! In fact, whenever we now go to a new city, in US or not, I use GYG to see the range of possibilities re tours, etc. I guess Viator could serve the same purpose, though.

On a short return trip to Paris in 2019, we wanted to visit the Orsay and Orangerie Museums on the same day. We are believers in the Museum Pass to save time even if we wouldn’t save money but there is no one day pass and these were the only museums we had planned to see on this trip. When researching how to buy advance tickets for Giverny I saw an ad for combination Orsay/Orangerie skip the line tickets from GetYourGuide for 22 Euros. We had no problem buying them and took our printed tickets to the completely empty advance ticket lines at both museums and walked right in. It worked out well for us.

Did you screenshot your purchase? It is not impossible that you accidentally purchased two passes. If so, they don't really have to refund. Can your credit be used elsewhere?
Do you have the email or chat with GYG? The credit card companies usually want you to try to resolve it first, then file the dispute.
If you have proof, I agree that you should file a dispute for a double charge.

Terrible time in Scandinavia
I booked 2 separate excursions using GYG in 2024 and both failed me. One was an excursion ruined when they refused to honor the reservation I booked giving me a lesser trip for which they owe me $85 and they completely failed to show up on a red bus tour costing me another $90. I have written customer service repeatedly for the last year and I get the run around. Complete ripoff. Use Viator. I will never book with them again. Crooks.
