Germany Season Question

LOL, swandav, now I have to respectfully disagree. It's probably your excitement over your living in Germany now that made you not realise how crappy the weather in fall was this year ;-)
According to wunderground.com (for Munich) there were 13 days with rain in October plus two days with snowfall (mid Oct!), only 3 days with a little sun, the rest was overcast.
I recall a very heavy rain in July, though. ;-)

Ok, but then what accounts for my view of the Spring weather, eh?? I remember practically counting the number of days of rain in a row --
I also remember being able to wear summer tops all through October, which was glorious. Down here, anyway! Yes, we did have those two weird days of snow, but they came and went and were forgotten as we got high temps again. Again, down here we had few overcast days; we had a lot of sunshine.
(BTW, I enjoyed reading about all the yummy eats at the many Dresden markets, lol, better stay away!!!)
