Gatwick Bed & Breakfast

Any recommendations for a Bed & Breakfast near Gatwick? It will just be for our last night in England before we fly out the next morning. We are travelling with our children. Thanks!

Hi
We stayed at the Gatwick Belmont Guesthouse,in Horley, a few years ago.
They pick up and deliver to the airport. Pleasant place. Good breakfast. Lovely old town, with a 500 year old pub for dinner.

See http://www.gatwickbelmont.com/

I have not stayed at the following, but have seen them praised here and in publications

Copperwood Guesthouse B&B in Horley, Surrey, one train stop from Gatwick. They will pick you up/drop you off from/at the airport. Nice place, friendly hosts, good breakfast, quiet, and just minutes from Gatwick.
http://www.accomodata.com/261297.htm

Corner House Hotel, 72 Massetts Rd, Horley, Surrey, phone 1293 784574
Fax 1293 784620
Close to Gatwick. Free shuttle service to airport. Free phone to use by the shuttle bus stop at lower level, curbside, of South Terminal at Gatwick. Place is modern and clean.
http://www.hotelworld.com/nonsubscri....fcgi?n=s10347

August 2000, from Fodor’s Europe forum:
"I have to put in a plug for Crutchfield Farm B&B in Hookwood nr. Gatwick. It is literally 8 min. drive
from the airport and the owners will pick you up and drop you off. At 75 pounds per night you get the privilege of
staying (and eating breakfast)in a luxurious and completely renovated 14th century manor house with landscaped grounds complete with a lake with swans and tennis courts! The rooms are huge, some with exposed beams and all with modern bathrooms. Why would anyone stay at a cookie-cutter room across the street from the airport?"
http://www.2hwy.com/eg/c/crchelar.htm

Gable End Guest House, 23 Church Rd, Horley, Surrey recommended over many years in International Travel News, including January 2001 when a double room was 48L . www.gable-end.com, email [email protected]
5 minutes from Gatwick. 5 rooms all with bath or shower. Full breakfast.
Phone/fax 1293 783 679
Pick up and delivery to/from Gatwick is available. This is said to be more upscale than many B&Bs.
You don't mention whether you have a car. If so, I'd recommend Hazel's, an excellent bed and breakfast located at Ockley, just west of Gatwick. Their website is: www.guestaccom.co.uk/820.htm
and owners Suzie and John Floud will make sure you have a lovely visit. The suite is apart, but beside, the main house and is made up of a kitchenette, small dining area, living room with comfortable, fold-out couch and small tv downstairs, and twin/double beds with bathroom (and another tv) on second floor. It's located in a gorgeous 2.5 acre garden and isn't far from the Parrot Pub at Forest Green - we ate there three days in a row the food and service was so good. Just off the A24 but very quiet and everything is so green. Was about 55 pounds for my mother and I, probably a bit more for a family. The breakfast was delicious and served in the suite.
