Gatwick Airport to Bournemouth transport.
Hello Everyone,<BR><BR>We will be visiting London & Bournemouth during May 2003. Our flight arrives at Gatwick at around 11:00pm. Does anyone know if there is some sort of transport (rail, bus, etc) from Gatwick to Bournemouth around that hour? I checked www.rail.co.uk, but I didn't see anything after 10:15pm.<BR><BR>Thanks,<BR>Suhas

Check www.thetrainline.com . This site will answer all of your questions. There are many connections to Bournemouth.

I think your choices are, a) stay at a Gatwick hotel overnight and take a train in the morning or b) arrange a car service to take you to Bournemouth that night. I think the latter would cost well over GBP100 -- but then so would the first, probably.

OOps sorry...I didnt notice the prolonged stop on the train schedule. Best to stay at a gatwick hotel upon arrival...take a cab its usually cheaper than waiting for the hotel transport. Could you get an earlier flight?

Hello,<BR><BR>Thanks everyone for their replies so far...<BR>Unfortunately, our flight to London has already been booked. It arrives Gatwick at approx. 10:30pm.<BR><BR>I will keep on searching the web for some more info. on buses, trains, etc. I will let everyone know if I find anything.<BR><BR>Thanks again.<BR>Suhas
