Galway accomodations for 10

My group of 10 will be in Galway during July and I am struggling to find a place to stay. Most of the B & B's are too small but I would like to keep the budget around 50-60 euros/pps. Brennan's Yard hotel looks good and will be remodelled by the end of May but the reviews on tripadvisor are poor. Does Jury's feel too much like a tour bus hotel? Are there B&B's that could accommodate ten that you recommend? How is the walk from Salthill into Galway? Too far? Thanks in advance for the help.

Diane

Try the Spanish Inn on Quay street. Right in the middle of town with quirky room and a great bar.

You're better off staying in Glaway than Salthill.

Make sure you visir the Roisin Dubh for some traditional music and McDonaghs for great fish and chips.

FWIW, we have reservations for a group of 8 (1 family room with a double and two singles, 1 room with a double and 1 room with two singles) in March at A Aaron B&B on College Road. Their website is http://www.galway.net/pages/aaaron/

We're paying Euro100 for the family room and Euro35 pp for the rest. I would assume rates would be higher in July.

Obviously, we haven't yet stayed there so can't give you a "review".

The Jury's Inn in Galway is a typical commericial hotel, but its location can't be beat for exploring the city on foot.

We stayed there with my father in March 2002 and found it fine, although the rest of our trip was spent in B&Bs all over the north and west.

In a way, having a shower with some water pressure for a change was kind of nice

It might be your best bet with that many people to accommodate.

Happy travels.
