I need help with a hotel in anyone of the three towns as a base. A 3* hotel on the beach if possible. I emailed the Aurora in Sperlonga and the have no rooms for June.Any help with hotels or favoriate rest. would be appreciated. Thanks

I would definitely recommend you try the Serapo in Gaeta. It's right on the beach in a real lovely neighborhood. It's a classy hotel, but not overly expensive. Almost right next door is another great hotel. It's not right on the beach, but maybe a hundred yards away. The name escapes me now, I think it might be The Mirasole, or something like that. You will love either one. They happen to be down the street from my apartment in Gaeta.

I forgot to mention. A restaurant that will absolutely blow your mind, it's so great, is located between Gaeta and Formia. The name is Il Nostromo. It's on the main road between the two towns. There are some other nice restaurants in Gaeta.

Have you tried the Hotel Appia in Formia?

And the Hotel Europa, also in Formia?

Have you tried the Gajeta Hotel? It's a nice place to stay not far fromthe beach and the historical district of Gaeta.
