Fun Poll: Where is the best Toboggon Run in Switzerland or Germany?
I'll be traveling in Germany and Switzerland this summer and would love to ride on one of the Toboggon runs.
Anyone have experience riding one?
Is there one out there that is the best?
Places we will be visiting are:
Cochem
Rothenburg
Munich
Fussen
Meersburg
Appenzell
Luzern and surrounding area
Thanks!

When in the summer? It is very doubtbul that there would be snow in the Appenzell area for any tobagan run then, and I don't know of a tobaggan run in the Luzern area. Those areas only have snow in the very highest peak elevations. The only real tobaggan run I know of is the Cresta Run in St Moritz/Celerina and I don't believe that even that is open in the summer, it's not at a high enough elevation.

A nice summer toboggan run is near Appenzell - Kronberg. It is 1000 m lon and good fun.

I guess Füssen and Luzern have such runs in the vicinity too.

I know there's a Sommer Rodelbahn near the Royal Castles outside Fussen. Bavaria Ben, Fodor's resident German Expert, is a big fan of these summer bobsled runs. Have you checked-out his website? Check out:

You might also want to do a Google search for "Rodelbahn Fussen" or Lucerne to see what pops up. There are a lot of them in Southern Bavaria. Not sure about Switzerland.
