Fun forests in Germany

We're taking the following route:

Munich->Berchtesgaden->Fussen->Rothenburg->Bacharach->Frankfurt

Does anyone know if there are any "fun forests" around these places?

Are you referring to something like an amusement park?

As a German, I have to ask: What is a "fun forest"?

That's not good. I saw posts on Rick Steve's website that fun forests are a good thing to do with kids and that they're all throughout Germany and the Netherlands. They're supposed to be a climbing/zip-lining type of park.

List of them all, sorted by federal state: http://de.wikibooks.org/wiki/Hochsei...eilg%C3%A4rten
It's the German Wikipedia but the names of places will help. The list further down has links to the parks' websites.

I have never heard the term "fun forest" either, can only assume this is what you mean.

Love these, they are so much fun. There are several around Frankfurt, and one up in Wiesbaden which I have also been to.

This one is near Bad Homburg, just north of Frankfurt. I have been to this one
