Hey, thanks for thinking of me... wasn't able to travel to Paris this summer, but I look forward to checking out your pics! Hope you had fun! Celebrated pride in Ft. Lauderdale (home) instead this year. Not as fun as Paris though

The Fête de la Musique was considerably better before the government tried to turn it into an official Major Media Event. Now it's a bit too busy and commercial to be interesting, unless you like Major Media Events.
The Gay Pride parade is probably the noisiest parade in Paris. It can be heard from miles away, and the music—if one can call it that—seems to consist primarily of electronic percussion loops played through megawatt speakers. If you have earplugs and you like to see people walking around in underwear, it might be interesting.
