You may find the timing tight just because CDG is a large and crowded airport - but
Your luggage should be checked from LHR to Philly (But confirm with your airline now and make sure it is tagged that way in London)
Once you land at CDG you do NOT go through Immigration since you are not entering France
You are only transiting to another flight and therefore will stay airside (ask for help from staff if this is not clear)
You will have to go through security again for your flight to the US so do move as quickly as possible to get to your next departure gate
It may help if you download a plan of the airport to consult when you are landing so you have an idea of where to go - but the signs are really clear
Don't worry - it will work out - thousands of people do it every day.

What aspect of the EU are you completely unaware of?
Are you simply illiterate? Or just yet another Yank too lazy to read anything with words over one syllable?
flanneruk - I see that you have not yet fine tuned your ability to convincingly express yourself or communicate without resorting to pointless personal attacks.
In spite of you consistent negativity, I do find you a mildly amusing poster and do enjoy perusing your contributions, not so much for their usefulness but rather for their entertainment value.
