From Lisbon to Santander

Hello,we are planning to go for Portugal and Spain in April for 8 days.
What does it worth to visit? I was thinking about 2 days Lisbon,Sintra-Coimbra-Porto-Santiago De Compostela-Oviedo-Gijon-Piscos de Europa...
what do you think?can be done in 8 days?
What is more not leave out?
Thanks

That's a lot of ground to cover in only eight days. You really need to look at a map and check the distances.

It's too much. I think you should concentrate in the Spanish side.

It's Picos de Europa, not 'Piscos!'
You've left out Braga & Guimaraes, birthplace of modern Portugal.

Yes, it could be done in 8-days but that would be a 'rush' schedule and you might not enjoy it very much.

I've done the Porto - Santiago part: there's one train daily from Porto-Vigo www.cp.pt and there are many TRD's on Regional Rail between Vigo & Santiago.

Don't plan to rent a car in Portugal with dropoff in Spain. That would cost you lots of Euros. You might also have some Insurance issues.

Even though I like Santander it is took much for the trip as are the picos. And as someone pointed out, check iwth car rental companies since it can be expensive to leave it in another country.

You don’t tell us what form of transport you are using. If so what, bus or train? If you are hiring a car will you return it to Portugal?
We agree with robert, 8 days is not so long. Let us know what your plans are and your preferences for sights then make be we can help a bit further.
