Frequent Métro Travelers - Paris

I need to meet friend at Montparnasse. How long does it take to arrive at Denfert-Rochereau from de Gaulle?

merci.

An hour? That's longer than I would have expected.

Do you think the AF shuttle would be faster?

40 minutes from platform to platform, but give yourself time to purchase the ticket.

According to www.ratp.info, the travel time is 41-42 minutes from platform to platform. Add wait time for the next train to leave, which can be from 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day.

The Air France shuttle takes an hour to get to Gare de Lyon - Montparnasse would be another 15-20 minutes, depending on how many passengers and their luggage are left at that first stop.

But why do you want to calculate the trip down to the last minute when the plane might be an hour late?

Depends to some degree on the time of day, but I think an hour is just about right.

The biggest variable is probably how many people are queued ahead of you, and how many agents are selling tickets.

of course I forgot to add the connection to Montparnasse from D'enfert. Looks like 1:15 after with that. Do you think that is the most direct route?

Merci tout le monde.
