I just received what I think is an affirmative response to my online request for a reservation. It says " votre reservation est faite merci'

When I went to an online dict. 'faite' comes out as rooftop or summit? I'm assuming it somehow works in this context but couldn't find a place to punch in a phrase or sentence.

faite comes from the verb "faire" to do. Il est fait, elle est faite.(réservation is feminine)
I think they made it simple for you to understand.

It's not alway recommended (as it gives funny results) but for once you could have tried the following translation site.

It translates the restaurant's reply to "Your reservation is made, thank you." as Mclaurie wrote above.

I was rahter curious about " 'faite' comes out as rooftop or summit". How did you get that translation ? I wondered so I looked into my dictionary BOOK. Ah-ha ! I did not know the word but that's 'faîte' with circonflex ^ on i that means "top".

thanks for the confirmation of what I thought must be a positive response.

2 different sites gave me the summit/rooftop translation. my email didn't have any ^ on the word either.
