Frankfurt Itinerary Help

Hi I am wondering what would be a good itinerary for 2-3 days in Frankfurt.

Thank you,

That depends on what your interests might be.
Do you like old churches, museums, art, walking tours, farmers markets, botanical gardens and parks, Jewish history, etc. Your question is too vague for anyone to give you an answer, which is why this is your first answer in 5 days.

You have failed to mention your interests, when you are going, and whether you will renting a car or using public transportation.

Two day itinerary:

Day 1: go to Bad Homburg in the morning and see the reconstructed Roman fortress then head to the old town Römerberg and wander around.

Day 2: German Architecture Museum, Icon Museum, Jewish Museum. Go check out the Jewish Quarter.

Three day itinerary:

Day 1: Go to Bad Homburg and see the reconstructed Roman fortress.

Day 2: Take the morning train to Nuremberg. Go to the Nazi Documentation Center, grab lunch at Hausbrauerei Altstadthof near the base of the castle, walk up to the castle, and then either mosey around the old city or go see the art bunker. Swing by the Red Light district if that's your thing. Grab dinner at Istanbul Restaurant (every time I have gone the place has been half Turkish and the food is excellent).

Day 3: Go to the Germanisches Nationalmuseum then the Nuremberg trials museum and/or the Art bunkers at the base of the castle (if you didn't see it the day before). Grab a Leberkase im Brotchen or Drei im Weckla for lunch at Metzgerei Walk on the Hauptsreasse. Take the train back to Frankfurt.

Have we all naively assumed that he was referring to Frankfurt am Main instead of Frankfurt (Oder)?

>Have we all naively assumed that he was referring to Frankfurt am Main instead of Frankfurt (Oder)?<

In that case the OP would not have asked for an itinerary but for the itinerary.

When someone asks for a 3 day itinerary for a city, I don't understand it when people then suggest trips away from the city for every single day.
Obviously, the OP should give us some ideas before we waste time making suggestions, but at least make suggestions for Frankfurt and not 3 different cities instead.
