France transportation strike beginning 12/5
DH and i are scheduled to fly back from CDG on 12/5 on American Airlines. We have already booked a hotel at CDG for the night of the 4th because of the impending transportation strike. my understanding is that the Air France ground crew is going to participate in the strike. Can anyone explain what that means in terms of a flight back to the US on American? Do they use the AF ground crew? Any insight is appreciate as we consider changing our flight home (not what we want to do!).
Thank you

Lori...we, too, were due to fly out of CDG on 12/5, but changed our flight. Even if you could get to the airport, not a problem for you if you are staying there, can you even imagine the chaos in the terminals????

Why would an Air France strike affect American? They aren't partners or anything. No, it shouldn't affect you except I imagine there won't be any empty seats due to that if people change flights.

What is the latest on the metro strike, the museum strike, and the baggage handlers strike in Paris?
