We just returned Tuesday and stayed at the Eiffel Park for 6 nights. We thought it was fine--quiet street,a/c,and close to all the sites and museums. We paid 84 Euros a night for a twin.

John

Did you reserve before you got there or did you just walk off the street. They are quoting us 155 Eoro's for a double.

we reserved in early August, but Auguest is kind of a dead period for Paris, so I guess we got a special rate. Did you check the BestWestern web site? I don't know what other similar hotels charge in that area to gage if $155 is a good deal or not. The $9 for breakfast is not worth it. John

Stayed at the Hotel De La Roseraie. It was a very nice little hotel. The owners are charming. The restaurant is WONDERFUL. Be sure to have the duck with cherries or cherry sauce.

Hope you have a car as the train service is not very frequent. Really need a car to make the most of your time in this area.
