On the assumption that your relative is an aunt, try La Cocarde, a nice little tearoom in St-Paul-de-Vence that is open most of the day (until 8 p.m., I think), serving salads, soups, sandwiches, and assorted hot meals--along with delectable ice cream. It's a pretty place done up in blues and yellows.

I love Underhill's reply - LOL!
If your relative cooks Michelin rated restaurant class meals, the restaurant La Chevre d'or or less formal terrace restaurant Les Ramparts at Chateau de la Chevre d'Or in Eze village is an unforgettable experience.
