There are so many things people do that is inconsiderate and rude on planes, that eggs are way down on my list including airlines allowing people to stuff refrigerators in the overhead.
But if someone cracked an egg next to me, my first thought would be they hit their head.

What I cannot stand is someone sitting next to me on a plane [or train for that matter] chewing gum. Just gross. Much worse than eggs, tuna, even bananas, which I don't like either.
this is probably for another thread but as we were venting....

Gum chewers don't bother me (I have to sometimes for the ears too)
But ones who incessantly pop/crack their gum or chew w/ there mouth open drive me up the wall. The popping/cracking especially is soooooooo annoying.

and then people who insist on wearing perfume on an aircraft, who in their right mind thinks that is nice, just wash
Eggs in the US are washed prior to sale and sulphur may be used to compensate for this insane practice. Might explain the odd smells you get off American boiled eggs.

>>LeeineA, not to worry, I just returned from Italy and every hotel breakfast buffet included hard boiled eggs as an option. I am a fan myself.<<
There is a whole hell of a lot of difference between having eggs for breakfast . . . in a breakfast/dining room and whipping out hardboiled eggs in a cramped/crowded airplane.
