Nice try, Mimi, but no haiku. It's 5-7-5, ALWAYS. If you don't want to do haiku, do something else, but don't call it haiku if it doesn't fit the pattern - that's what haiku is all about, a pattern, the same pattern, many thousands of years of the same pattern.<BR>If you want to write poetry, that's one thing. If you want to write haiku, that's another. You Americans think you can mess with anything. You can't. End of story, Imperialists.

Kitty I'm afraid not - pup did 7-5-7 (total 19 syllables) whereas haiku is 5-7-5 (total 17 syllables)<BR>
