Iris- I'm asking everyone to select their category and NOT use the color option. The category field has default colors- this way we keep some order with respect to the use of colors. Its also easier to find GTG's , vacations, other events by the color scheme. Enjoy the calendar. I have fixed your entries.

That was very nice to say Janis
and I have noticed that you phrase things in a pleasant way lately! This is fantastic!

A note about people putting their trip in for each day they are gone. Some people are traveling to multiple destinations so its good to see where they are as they move from one destination to another. Also the calendar appears to be able to accomodate multiple entries on each day so it has not been a problem so far. Also when people are thinking about planning a GTG they can see who is traveling on that day. If one were to put in their trip only with one entry then its not easy to tell if they are available on a particular day.

I will never be organized enough to update this with any regularity, but just wanted to throw in my thanks for setting this up.

No problem- it takes a few tries to figure it all out- I go in and correct them anyway.

BillT, is there any way to edit entries? I've made some significant changes to some itineraries.

Gardyloo,

Click on the day, and you'll see a list of all the entries for that day, with an "edit" link beside each.

Bill, what an outstanding idea! Could you also create a calendar for European festivals and highlights?

I'd be happy to include some of Switzerland's major festivals throughout the year.

Thanks!
