Fodorite Calendar

I have created a shared calendar that all can use to enter their GTG's, vacations, birthdays. Hopefully the link below will take you there. You are free to add in your items- include your screen name and keep it short. Will topp every day so people will begin to use it. Save the link as one of your favorites and then add in your events as they come up. I have added my trip in March 2009 so check that out to get an idea of what to put in the calendar.

Thanks BillT - I entered my Italy trip dates, but my blue background is a bit darker than I thought it would be.

Try a lighter color. Also there is a popup feature where you can put in a lot more text- it will then show as a link - which when clicked brings up the added text.

Hi BillT,

Is is possible to enter more than one entry in a particular date i.e., 3/26 is my bday and also one of your travel dates?

Have you tried and it won't work? If not then I'll add it myself.

Note that you should select category when adding your items that way we will maintain the color schemes for each type.

After seeing your information I did not try and thought I would ask you first. It's no problem if you add it.

Thanks for the tip about the color scheme. I was having a hard time with that. I thought once I selected the color as my default it would work for all entries, but it did not and I was forced to add the color for each entry.

BTW, Kudos to you for the wonderful idea.

This is a great way to learn where all our Fodor friends are traveling and for the GTG's that are scheduled throughout the year in Boston, Hawaii, etc. Also you can wish your Fodor friends happy birthday as well.

I'm the Calendar Natzi- each category has a default color- lets use the defaults. Select the category and the proper default color is applied. This was done so that we don't wind up with a rainbow of colors all over the place. Now when you look green is GTG, birthdays- lavender, vacations blue.

How fun indeed! We're on for Bavaria in April 2009. (Sorry for not using the correct colors.)
