Florence/Venice/Lugano

We're going to these three cities over the holidays and staying at Bernini Palace, Bauer, and Hotel De La Paix respectively. Any comments/suggestions? Any input on skiing/snowboarding in Lugano area? Many thanks.

Hi

My wife and I went to Venice in June 2003 and we stayed there for a few days. I have posted a trip report and pictures on my personal homepage www.gardkarlsen.com. Maybe you can find some useful information there Have a great trip.

Regards

Good morning, my recommendations would be the
SATUIRNIA in Venice.
CONTINENTAL OR LUNGARNO in Florence
and
LUGANO DANTE in Lungano..
Have used all more than once and would return, was very satisified with accomodations, staff and etc.

A lot of "hotel snobs" will tell you the Bauer is "grim" but I can say from personal experience that if you can afford to stay there, do so.
