Florence to Pisa airport, train or bus?

We will be flying out of Pisa Airport back to London on the 6 June at 1315 hours.I have not flown from this airport before.
We are staying in the San Frediano area of Florence.
Just wondering what is the most efficient (read easy) way of getting to the airport from Florence. Train or Bus?

Here's the bus info, but if you scroll down you'll find private transfers for just a little more money.

Oops. Prices have gone up since I last did this. I was looking at the Florence to Florence airport cost per person. Florence to Pisa airport by private transfer is significantly more expensive than the bus. Just take the bus.

The Terravision bus used to only service people that were on certain budget airlines. You had to show proof. Here's their website.

By train it is easy and cheap, they leave frequently, they are regionals so no need for a reservation, just buy the ticket, stick it into the yellow validation box on the way to the platform (timestamp) and hop on.

Many go all the way from Florence to the Pisa airport, some require a switch in the Pisa Centrale station - piece of cake. Travel time about an hour and a half.

Morning possibilities from SMN (Santa Maria Novella station) for you - dep. and arr. times:
07:32 / 09:06
08:05 / 09:30
08:57 / 10:25
09:27 / 10:55 (PERFECT for you)
10:37 / 12:07 (risky for an overseas departure)

Schedules at www.ferroviedellostato.it
