Florence Mass

I know there are a lot of beautiful churches in Florence, but which ones still hold Mass on Sundays? Which is your favorite?

Hi,

I haven't been to Florence but I am going this September so I did a bit of research and this is what I came up with for the Duomo. If anyone has updates or clarifications, please post.

Duomo (Phone 0552302885)
English-Saturdays only at 5pm
Latin w/ Gregorian chants-Sundays
at 10:30am

Thanks for your answer. I've been trying to get this message on the Florence/Italy thread but it keeps popping up just in Europe. Any ideas how I get it to the other thread?

Most churches have masses on both saturday afternoons and several masses on Sunday. We enjoyed Santa Maria Novella near the train station. The Duomo offers masses in English on Saturday afternoons

Vespers in Latin and mass following on Sunday's starting at 4:30 PM or 5:00 at San Miniato Al Monte. My wife loved both but dress warm, even on a nice day the part of the church where services was held was only 60 degrees.

Windows
there is no Florence or Italy forum, there is just Europe.
The reason you choose a location when you first post is just for archiving purposes, I think.
If you want to find other info on Florence, just go to the top of this page and use the search function, type in your topic, and choose Italy.
